Back You are here: Home Recipes Brian's Great EZ Recipes BBQ Brisket

BBQ Brisket

Prep Time 20 minutes or less

 3-5 lb brisket

salt, pepper. garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, coriander spice

2 beef boullion cubes*

One jar chili sauce ( found near the ketchup in the supermarket)

One  coke, pepsi, or diet  if you have too

Potatoes,

carrots,

celery,

any other vegetable, except for Broccoli, Cauliflower or Asparagus

Another one of  Brian's Ez recipe , the nice thing about this recipe is you really can't screw it up. You friends will really think you know what you are doing.. the key to cooking a brisket successfully is to slow cook it. Of course if you are in a hurry and hungry you can cook it in about 2 hours, but if you have the time the slower the better.

In hurry  350 two hours

no hurry, 200- 4 to 6 hours. it will really be  tender can slice or pull..

Ok,  season the brisket,  Fresh garlic is always better 2 -4 cloves. but for this garlic powder works, put on the spices on, add a bit of salt.. Remember to much salt will screw it up!!!

Pour the chili sauce on, and then the coke, mix it together.. ( this is an incredible barbeque sauce)

in the bottom of the pan,  put 1 boullion cubes.. ( if you do not have beef, use chicken, if you do not have that don't worry..)

, add some waterin the bottom of the pan..

cover with foil.

If you add vegetables in pan,  then they will cook and you will have a complete meal.. If you use the Broccoli, Cauliflower or Asparagus,  it will change the flavor. better to cook them separate
